ASHWELLTHORPE WEATHER DATA – MARCH 2013

A text version of the weather patterns for Ashwellthorpe for the month of March 2013 is given below, with the readings being taken between 07.00 and 08.00 at 5 Greenwood Close, Ashwellthorpe. Readings were not taken on 3 and 31 March. The temperature/humidity readings will, therefore, not necessarily be the coldest/warmest or most/least humid in any 24-hour period.

Rainfall in the month of March 2013 amounted to 48mm. The highest single 24-hour rainfall of 7.5mm was recorded on  Monday 18 March and there were 21 days with no measurable rainfall. There were slight coverings of snow, additional to the rainfall above,  on Sunday 10 March (40mm), Monday 11 March (20mm), Wednesday 13 March (10 mm) and Thursday 14 March (15 mm).

Temperature – the average temperature for March 2013 was 1.4 C with the warmest temperature of 6 C occurring on  Thursday 7, Friday 8, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 March. The coldest temperature of -2 C was recorded on Monday 11, Tuesday 12 and Thursday 14 March and temperatures of zero or sub-zero were recorded on 12 days of the  month.

Humidity – Two days in March were exceptionally dry with the lowest humidity of  32% and 33% being recorded on Thursday 28 and Tuesday 12 March respectively. The highest humidity level of 64% was recorded on Sunday 10 March.
