A letter from Rev Suzanne. May 18th 2013
Hello everyone!! My name is The Rev’d Suzanne Cooke and I am soon to become the new Priest-in-Charge of the Upper Tas Valley Benefice. For the last three years I have been the curate of St Mary’s Church, Watton and before that I was training at Westcott House in Cambridge, one of the few remaining residential training colleges for the Church of England.
I am 48 years old, married to Adrian and have two children, Alice 14 and Toby 10. We are an active family, with a great love of animals – we have far too many of them – and the outdoors. Alice and I share our love of horses and Adrian and Toby will often be found in Hunstanton, kitesurfing!
We are all very excited to be joining you and are slowly getting settled into The Rectory. With three moves in five years, you might think it would get easier to relocate, but it doesn’t seem to!
I am very much looking forward to my licensing on the 17th June and furthering all your work building the Kingdom of God in these communities. There is always much to be done and I am hoping that you are all as excited as we are about the tasks and challenges that lie ahead. I look forward to meeting you!!
Love and prayers
