THE BISHOP COMES TO FUNDENHALL is a DVD celebrating the day that the Bishop of Norwich came to St Nicholas Church, Fundenhall for the Service of Rededication and Thanksgiving. It features the service itself and the tea afterwards.

If you were unlucky enough to miss the service or if you would like a memento of the afternoon the DVD is for sale priced at £5. See if you can spot yourself ! They will be on sale at all our events or just call Lucie on 01508 488220 for your copy.

A REMINDER – The Christmas Tree Festival in St Nicholas Church, Fundenhall, which starts on Monday 4 December at 3.30 p.m. is almost ready. You can come along and see the Trees every day between 3.30 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. through till Friday 8 December. Then on Saturday 9 December from 11.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m., combine your visit with the Christmas Bazaar and visits from St Nicholas. CAROL SERVICE at ST NICHOLAS CHURCH, FUNDENHALL

SUNDAY 10 DECEMBER 2017

The annual Carol Service will be held in the Church at 6.30 p.m., followed by refreshments and mulled wine

CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL and CHRISTMAS BAZAAR at ST NICHOLAS CHURCH, FUNDENHALL

The Christmas Tree Festival in St Nicholas Church will take place from Monday 4 to Friday 8 December 2017 with viewing between 3.30 p.m. and  7.00 p.m. each day. The Christmas Trees will also be on view on Saturday 9 December when a Christmas Bazaar will be held between 11.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m., with Crafts, Refreshments and visits from St Nicholas. You can vote for your favourite Tree for only £1.00 with the money raised going to winning charities.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY SERVICE at ST NICHOLAS CHURCH, FUNDENHALL

SUNDAY 12 NOVEMBER 2017

This will take the form of the usual monthly Community Breakfast Prayers at 09.30 and then Dianne Burridge and Alan Womack will travel to All Saints’ Church, Tacolneston, for the reading of names and Act of Remembrance of the men of Fundenhall.

WORLD WAR 1 EXHIBITION – “RECONNECTING WITH FUNDENHALL’S FALLEN”

ST NICHOLAS CHURCH, FUNDENHALL (Sat Nav NR16 1AT) – 

The Church will be showing its extensive First World War exhibition  ‘Reconnecting with Fundenhall’s Fallen’, together with Kate Munro’s new sculpture incorporating “Tower of London” Poppies, from Sunday 5 to Friday 17 November 2017, between 09.00 and 17.00 each day.

FUNDENHALL DOG SHOW AND FAMILY DAY – 2 SEPTEMBER 2017

This year, the Dog Show and Family Day will be focusing on making the day a family event with more attractions for children to see. Reserve the date – more details will follow nearer the day.

ADVANCE DATE FOR YOUR DIARY – Once again this year, Manor Farm, Fundenhall, will be hosting an Open Farm Sunday  on 11 Jun 2017. St Nicholas are helping with refreshments on the day and some of the proceeds will go to St Nicholas. More details later
