CHURCH SERVICES IN ASHWELLTHORPE & FUNDENHALL OCTOBER & NOVEMBER 2014
This year’s Dog Show and Fete in aid of the St Nicholas Church Restoration Fund, will be held on Saturday 6 September at The Grange, Fundenhall, from Midday onwards. There will be a large display of Vintage Tractors and of Norfolk Internal Combustion Engines (NICE). There will be hawking and falconry displays throughout the afternoon with the opportunity to handle Hawks and Owls. Music will be provided by the local live band ‘Without Motif’ so there will be something for everybody to enjoy – also included, of course, will be lots of games, Tombola and other stalls, home made cakes and produce. For your refreshment a BBQ, Tea Tent or Beer Tent will be just what is welcome! Free entry and car parking.

SUNDAY 5 OCTOBER 2014 – 10.30 a.m – this is the Harvest Festival Service at St Nicholas in Fundenhall, but there will also be a display in the church of the project work produced by the children of Wreningham Primary School, following a joint programme of historical research and activity with the Fundenhall Heritage Lottery-Funded Project. The children’s achievements will be celebrated with this exhibition of booklets and stained glass windows they produced. Some of the children will also speak about their work. Afterwards, there will be a lunch and treasure hunt. Everyone is welcome
