Spring Wildlife Survey

Several Parishes in the county are collecting information about wildlife in their area as this is the International Year of Biodiversity. One aspect that has attracted interest is the signs of spring (particularly the first of each species) and we hope to be able to enlist the help of people living in the area to note these. If we receive information we aim to publish it in the next Mardle, as a point of interest to show when Spring arrived.

More importantly it would be good to collect this data every year so that we can compare and see if there are any trends.

This will only take a few moments to achieve as all you need to do is make a note in the form below when you see things and then call 01508 489311 to let us know. Alternatively you can copy this page and email the information to [email protected]

Please help us to put Ashwellthorpe and Fundenhall on the wildlife map.
