ASHWELLTHORPE WEATHER DATA – AUGUST 2012

Apologies for late input of  the text version of the weather patterns in Ashwellthorpe during August 2012 – caused by holiday absence during September. These are now given below and are based on the 24-hour readings taken between 07.00 and 08.00 at 5 Greenwood Close, Ashwellthorpe. The temperature and humidity readings will not therefore necessarily be the hottest/coldest or most/least humid of each 24 hour period.

The total rainfall for August 2012 was 41mm. The  highest single 24-hour rainfall of 12mm was recorded on Sunday 26 August. Out of the 31 days recorded, there were twenty-one day with no measurable rainfall. The total rainfall recorded during August 2011 was 71mm.

Temperature – the average temperature for the 31 days of August 2012 was 16C with the warmest temperature of 20C occurring on both Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 August. The coolest temperature of 10C was recorded on Friday 31 August.

Humidity ranged between 44% on Monday 6 August 2012 and 61% on Thursday 30 August.
