ASHWELLTHORPE WEATHER DATA – DECEMBER 2012

A text version of the weather patterns for Ashwellthorpe for the month of December 2012 is given below, with the readings being taken between 07.00 and 08.00 at 5 Greenwood Close, Ashwellthorpe. The temperature and humidity readings will therefore not necessarily be the hottest/coldest or most/least humid of each 24-hour period. Temperature and humidity readings were not taken on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 December 2012.

The total rainfall for December 2012 was 84mm. The highest single 24-hour rainfall of  16mm was recorded on Sunday 9 December with another 14mm also falling on a Sunday, the 23 December. There were 9 days during the month with no measurable amount of rainfall. The total rainfall for the month of December 2011 was 48.5mm.

Temperature – the average temperature for the 29 days of December when readings were taken, was 3C, with the warmest temperature of 10C occurring on Sunday 23 and Saturday 29 December 2012. The coolest temperature of the month of -5C was recorded on Thursday 13 December with other temperatures of zero and sub-zero being in those first 13 days of December. Subsequent temperatures have not fallen below 2C.

Humidity ranged between 47% on Saturday 29 December and  64% on Monday 17 December 2012.
