NEWS FROM ASHWELLTHORPE GARDENING CLUB – 21 JULY 2014

The Club raised over £120 on the stall at the “Home Grown in Ashwellthorpe” event at the Village Hall on Saturday 19 July – thank you to all members and others who provided plants, produce, bamboo canes, flower stitch kits, garden magazines and fresh cut flowers, including nasturtiums for salads! There are still some plants available and if you want to look at them, call in at The Parsonage, 103 The Street and pick up a bargain.

Next Group outing – Don’t forget, this is on SUNDAY 17 AUGUST to Seamere twixt Wicklewood and Hingham and there has been a great response with 30+ names at the moment. If you want to join in or bring neighbours or friends that’s fine, and if anyone would like a left, that can be arranged too – contact Debbie de Spon at The Parsonage. Meeting-up arrangements will follow soon.

DON’T FORGET TO GO AND LOOK NOW AT THE WILD FLOWERS IN THE CONSERVATION AREA OF ALL SAINTS’ CHURCH, ASHWELLTHORPE, THEY LOOK BEAUTIFUL.
