Owing to holiday arrangements, the weather information was only collected on seventeen days in August 2015, with a notable gap between 4 and 15 August with the various readings on the other days being taken between 07.00 and 08.00 at 5 Greenwood Close, Ashwellthorpe.They are not, therefore, necessarily the warmest/coldest or most/least humid within any 24-hour period.However, the rainfall amount gathered from the rain gauge on 16 August can be an accurate reading for the previous 12 days.

Rainfall – total rainfall for August 2015 was 93 mm with the most rainfall in any one twenty-four period being 34 mm  collected on the morning of Thursday 7 August (there were 9 mm recorded between the period 4 to 15 August). In the seventeen days when readings were actually taken, there were eight days with no measurable rainfall.

Temperature – the average temperature for the seventeen days of August when readings were taken was 14 C with the warmest of 18 C being recorded on Friday 21 August 2015.  The lowest temperature recorded was 11 C on Monday 17 and Friday 28 August 2015.

Humidity – the lowest humidity recorded in the seventeen days of August was 49% on Monday 3 August, and the highest of 60% on Monday 31 August 2015.
